About Us
A hotelier by passion, I initially bought this house for long-term rental. But my family and I completely fell under the spell of Béziers and the Occitanie region—its light, its history, its wines, its Canal du Midi. So we decided to renovate it entirely using natural materials, paying meticulous attention to every detail.
The initial renovations took six months, but for the past nine years we've made new improvements every year—because a home you love is never truly finished. Our son, who grew up with this house, is now 21 and also helps with its day-to-day management. And it's Nelly, our trusted neighbor, who looks after the house every time someone leaves or arrives.
It's truly a family — and neighborhood — adventure. When you stay here, you are our guests — not a reservation number.

From your charming address, you can discover all the main sites of Béziers in 10 minutes on foot, including the Tourist Office.
I've prepared 3 walking routes starting from home. Click on the corresponding link, then in the Google map that opens, select the desired route in the panel on the left to see it appear on the map.
From Place Saint-Jacques, you will have a charming view of the Orbe, the canal bridge and, in the distance, of Saint-Nazaire Cathedral.
I have planned a 30-minute walk to get there, passing by the old arena, then the Tourist Office and the Town Hall.
the central market halls, and the return via the Bishops' Garden and the small streets.
Another 45-minute journey will take you to the Madeleine church and allow you to discover it.
at the municipal theatre which celebrated its 180th anniversary in 2024.
Discover the Boyer de Sorgues hotel, the Paul Riquet alley district, creator of the Canal du Midi, up to the Jardin des Poètes, classified as a remarkable garden, by joining the Béziers train station from where you can take the bus to the Valras beach (which is celebrating its 90th anniversary) in 30 minutes.
Don't forget to visit the 9 locks of Fonseranes, a 50-minute round trip walk from the house, from where you can take a barge to navigate on the Canal du Midi.
Did you know that Béziers was the world capital of wine at the end of the 19th century?
Hence the great fortunes that made it possible to build the magnificent buildings of the city.

3 beaches to discover,
Valras beach
the central beach
Valras-Plage is THE seaside resort of Béziers Méditerranée! Indeed, its magnificent beach continues to attract visitors.
Valras-Plage beach allows everyone to swim safely thanks to its four lifeguard stations where lifeguards, firefighters, and an emergency physician are present throughout the summer season. This exceptional monitoring system has earned it the Blue Flag award for the 25th consecutive year.
The brand-new S line, also known as "La Solaire," departs from platform 6 at the Béziers bus station and runs every 30 minutes. The last bus leaves Valras at 10:55 pm on weekends, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your evening! It also serves the towns of Villeneuve-lès-Béziers and Sérignan. Convenient, isn't it?
And as they say, "things come in threes," line 3 in Valras-Plage (now called line L for "La Littorale") will allow you to depart from the shellfish port (Vendres). From July 6th, it will serve various stops in Valras-Plage and a few in Sérignan before arriving at its terminus: Sérignan-Plage.

Sérignan
The nature reserve and the naturist beach
Since 2020, the Orpellières Natural Park and its magnificent beaches have consistently attracted hundreds of visitors. Easily accessible thanks to its parking area near the "Le Sérignan-Plage" campsite, it's always a pleasure to come for a swim or simply a picnic. Pristine beaches, lagoons, and a dune system await you, offering a breathtaking spectacle in a setting as peaceful as it is beautiful!
The naturist beach is marked by a sign. You will also find a first aid station there.
Not far from these beaches is the Orpellières Visitor Centre, a calm and relaxing place, ideal for families as it offers a playground and various workshops and visits (during school holidays) as well as events during the summer.
Grande Maire Beach
Located at the end of the lane of the same name, Grande Maïre beach is one of the largest in Sérignan after Orpellières beach. It also has a car park and a first aid station to ensure everyone's safety.
The Grande Maïre is a former branch of the Orb River. Today, it is considered a lagoon where fresh and salt water mix. Classified as a Natura 2000 site, it is very pleasant for swimming in the summer.
